Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 4 cups chrysanthemum greens washed and chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the chrysanthemum greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Mix well!
  2. Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey or agave syrup, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top before serving.

Notes

This salad is best enjoyed fresh. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days.
