Ingredients
  

For the Cranberry Brie Bites
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
Fresh herbs
  • rosemary or thyme optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into 2-inch squares.
  3. Step 3: Place a small piece of Brie cheese in the center of each pastry square.
  4. Step 4: Top the Brie with a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  5. Step 5: Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Step 6: Brush the tops of the pastry bites with the beaten egg.
  7. Step 7: Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  9. Step 9: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

These bites are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
