- Step 1: Rinse the black soybeans under cold water to remove any impurities.
- Step 2: In a large pot, combine the rinsed black soybeans and the 4 cups of water.
- Step 3: Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Step 4: Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the beans are tender.
- Step 5: Drain any excess water and season the beans with salt to taste before serving.
Notes
Leftover black soybeans can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
