  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups celery sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil for finishing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (optional, for serving)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Add the sliced celery to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Step 4: Now, toss in the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Step 5: Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, mixing well to coat the shrimp and celery.
  6. Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately over cooked rice if desired. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

If you happen to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Just reheat before serving.
