Cuisine: Frozen, Indian

Ingredients

For the Mango Lassi Popsicles
  • 2 pieces ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk regular or plant-based
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar sweeten to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • a pinch salt enhances flavors
  • chopped mint leaves optional for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Popsicle Molds

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by peeling and dicing the ripe mangoes. The riper they are, the sweeter your popsicles will be!
  2. Step 2: In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, yogurt, milk, honey (or sugar), ground cardamom, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Blend everything until smooth and creamy. You want a nice, thick mixture!
  4. Step 4: Pour the mango mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze.
  5. Step 5: Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until completely set.
  6. Step 6: To remove the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds and gently pull them out.
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped mint leaves if desired. Enjoy your refreshing treat!

Notes

Store your popsicles in the freezer for up to 2 months. Make sure they are tightly sealed to prevent freezer burn.
