  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup milk makes the sauce creamy
  • 2 tbsp butter for sautéing and flavor
  • 2 tbsp flour helps thicken the sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese e.g., mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce adds depth of flavor
  • 1 tbsp ketchup adds a hint of sweetness
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce for a savory kick
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Step 3: Add the ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Step 4: Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  7. Step 7: Incorporate soy sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and adjust seasoning if necessary.
