- Step 3: Pour the hot or cold green tea over the rice until generously covered.
- Step 4: Top off with your choice of garnishes such as pickled plum, seaweed, or grilled fish.

Notes
While ochazuke is best enjoyed fresh, you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat the rice before adding the tea.
