Ingredients
  

For the Teriyaki Pork Balls
  • 500 g ground pork
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs helps bind the mixture
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
For garnish
  • sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, bread crumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Mix everything until it is well combined.
  2. Step 2: Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Step 3: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pork balls and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Pour the teriyaki sauce over the pork balls and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

These teriyaki pork balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for longer storage, lasting up to 3 months.
