  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the diced carrot and potato, cooking for another 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Step 4: Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Stir everything together to combine.
  5. Step 5: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
