Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine the yuzu juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and mirin. Give it a good stir to mix everything together.
  2. Step 2: If you're using bonito flakes, add them in now and stir to combine.
  3. Step 3: Let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  4. Step 4: If desired, strain the ponzu through a fine mesh sieve to remove any solids.
  5. Step 5: Serve your ponzu chilled or at room temperature, garnished with citrus zest and chopped green onions if you like.

Store your yuzu ponzu in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week.
